[ Jyn arrives on time and without fanfare, innocuous in her dark gear and Olympian robe (the latter keeps local eyes off her, when she wanders the city). When the attendants at the gate lead her in, she takes a moment to assess the dojo. A few people still milling about, some with melee weapons, but none with blasters like her own. That's for the firing range, she supposes.

She takes a measured stroll to the weapons rack to deposit her blaster pistol. Then, she removes the alien robe and her scarf, folding them neatly off to the side. She's not interested in fighting someone without assessing them first, so she sits and waits. ]

[ There's a courtyard for demonstrations, with seats for those who prefer to observe, or waiting their turn. Bruce has been stopping by now and then to watch. He participates when requested, calibrating to each student or volunteer as they step up. His shoulder speaks of a recent injury — a test. Some people go straight for that weakness when it's their turn. Others look and wait. ]

[ Someone at the side asks Jyn if she'd like to participate. Bruce looks up at her and raises a questioning eyebrow. ]

[ Jyn only nods in reply, features blank as she squares her stance and raises her fists. All technically correct.

Her gaze flickers to Alan's injury but quickly returns to his face. Their height disparity means an aggressive move is ill-advised for her presently, regardless of whether she deems his weakness an appropriate target. After a moment, Jyn feints a swing to his right side. ]

[ All technically correct. The people who've stepped through these doors largely don't indulge in bravado, and those non-native who come down from the stands speak of experience. ]

[ Bruce dodges, then he moves in for his own few punches. He holds back on the first few blows (or all of them, depending) in terms of strength, but not speed. ]
