[Being from such a futuristic world as he was, the thought of horse-drawn carriages sounds adorably quaint.]
Everyone uses cars in my time. Or motorcycles. An actual horse would probably be worth a fortune.
[Given how even pets are considered rare and valuable, in his era.]
