[ Well. Out of all the things Tim's seen, this is by far not the weirdest. So while he does do a brief double-take at the sight, he just freakin' rolls with it. ]
Carmen!? [ He scoffs in a sort of amused awe. ] Like the opera?
[ Whatever that thing is, Tim sure hopes it gives the two of them an edge over the vulture. ]
Whatever 'Carmen' is, I sure hope she packs a punch!
[ At this point, Tim can only wait for an opening - an opening Carmen can give - so he can attack the vulture as well. But then, a more concrete idea dawns on him. ]
Keep it busy, Ann. I'll need to get the high ground for something.
[ Without waiting for a reply, Tim darts to the nearest tall tree. Sure, he's momentarily leaving Ann alone to deal with the beast, but after what he's just witnessed... it's beyond obvious that she can take care of herself.
Whatever Ann's forthcoming course of action may be, Tim later glides from a tall tree branch while Carmen has the vulture's attention. Carmen does a good enough job of keeping the beast at bay, and Ann's efforts are rewarded for the opportunity it gives Tim. Namely, his opportunity to glide into the vulture's face, dropkicking it and surfing on its body until it falls into the adjacent bog.
Yeah, that much worked, but when Tim jumps off of the vulture's body and towards safety, it turns out he's not physically capable of jumping that far. Before he can fall into the bog and towards his doom, he calls out to Ann. ]
