[ Her appearance catches his attention, first of all, before her words. He's caught staring at her some, though it's not with disgust or a lack of interest. It's more marveling at a sort of creature he hasn't been witness to yet. As many grievances as he had with this place already it was exciting in its own way to see things -- and people -- the likes he had never seen before. It wasn't exactly common back at home.

Her pleasant nature seems to calm him some from his riled state -- it's not like he's entirely unreasonable, of course. A good deal of that is her promise to assist him, of course. Gilgamesh is much more easily soothed when he knows he's going to get what he wants. Even if it's not usually in his playbook to ... well, play another role. This method isn't entirely disagreeable to him.

His entire posture seems to relax, though he's still eyeing her up with a keen sort of interest. ]
