[There's a large part of her that wants to go after the guards and give them a good knock against the head at seeing Yukina's expression fall hearing their words, quiet and stealthy approach be damned. But she knows that will get them absolutely nowhere beyond a brief satisfaction on her end, and she doesn't want to give them the pleasure of locking her up afterwards. She looks back at her with a sympathetic expression, sighing at how ridiculous everything had become.]

I've only been here just a few months, but before all of this the city was pretty laidback if you didn't want to get too involved with anything higher up. Mostly the people here are big on the nature of the place, temples dedicated to the Eternal Fire here and there if religion's your thing.

Dragons too, but I try to avoid those since I doubt they'd appreciate me killing them with how revered they are here. But it hasn't been anything like this until now, nothing nearly as bloodthirsty and heartless as they've been the past few days.
