[ After being quite literally shot out of the sky, Dazai hardly wants to stay anywhere in the vicinity, let alone for long enough to make friends. So once they begin to pick up the place and leave their meeting place behind, a sense of relief slowly creeps over him.

Prior to his arrival on this alien world he'd feel more comfortable using a false identity with people whose allegiances and history may clash with his own. But a new life and new planet means less of a chance he'll be bumping into anyone with ties to enemies from back home.

And any new ones would probably need less than a name to dub him a foreign foe, judging by the way a freighter with himself and his fellow off-worlders was blown sky-high at first glance. So he takes the risk and offers up the truth. ]

Osamu Dazai. But just 'Dazai' is fine~.

[ Tagging along after her, Dazai encounters several corpses that look fresh enough to nauseate a lesser man. Before passing them by he gives their bodies a once-over, looking for anything of use. But it seems they aren't the first ones through this way. The mangled remains have been picked free of their belongings, implying that the thieves could be anywhere ahead.

They had better be careful. Even if the guilty parties are merely fellow refugees that have passed through here, it hardly makes them friendly. Desperate people are often just as willing to steal from the living as they are from the dead.

It's a thought which keeps him mindful of his gun in it's holster as he continues their casual introductions as they trudge onward. ]

And your name? [ Dazai hums thoughtfully, as if this is a very serious topic. ] I bet it's something mature for your age, but still appropriately cute!
