And what he was able to take from it was pure and raw, not the gentle warm tingle he showed her before. It was a rush, a wave of something far more crisp and raw, but also less difficult for him to weave- perhaps channeling it through her was more of a feat, but this magic was as much a part of him as breathing or a heartbeat. However this also lead him to be unaware how taxing this energy could be on one who was not of his kind.
