He’s said too much (although how is that different from usual?) and it’s an anxious few moments while she types out a response (in this case, it would have been nice to be interrupted before he could fit his entire foot in his mouth, alas). So there’s a sigh of relief and an awkward laugh when she turns the phone around, his incredibly awkward apology accepted.]
