The way he reacts makes her wonder just how he perceives her. Perhaps it was reckless to be so willing to destroy a capsule. Would it put them in poor standing with the Orbiters? Could they blame it on mere curiosity?

"They said nothing of what might occur, were one to be broken." Said with a sniff, as she twists away from Jorah's pod and stalks further down the rows. "I've enemies we can try it on. Cold-blooded murderers, if that would ease your conscience."
She's burnt men alive for their treasons. Watching another die would not sit heavy on her conscience. And what if they didn't die? What if the Orbiters held so very many in stasis--not because they were, in fact, healing, but because they willed it?
"We've nothing to lose at this point. Sometimes, we need to take our answers, versus biding our time." She glances over her shoulder at him. "Coming?"
