Slinking's one word. Lurking's another, more appropriate to this particular individual. John's lucky, he didn't catch Bruce skulking, although the dark coloured coat certainly suggests it.

Far from the weariness it suggests, there's a faint sort of amusement, like even after the end of the world — of many — there's still salesmen to deal with. Bruce has lived through his fair share of Olympia and Wyver. He's a fickle man, he lives in one and enjoys the other. Wyver's shadows suit him, but his dearest friend and partner prefers the city.
