Maybe a little offended. Fire is very serious business, okay. At her clarification, though, his hackles lower a bit. He guesses he hadn't thought of it that way. Sorry, Urbosa--again, the last lightning-user he knew has kind of set a precedent and he's just knee-jerk expecting to be antagonized.
He grins a little as she reclines into the second bedroll, but sticks to just the one he's got, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees, letting his arms drape between them. He gives a nod then.
"Yeah," he says. "I mean, better I lost the stuff I wasn't so good at, right?" He laughs a little. "If I'd kept those and lost my fire, I'd be in a world of hurt if I had to kick any amount of ass." He offers her a hand then, to return the introduction. "Nice to meet'cha, Urbosa," he says, the pronunciation rolling fairly easily off his tongue, though the accent will take a few tries to really nail. "I'm Axel. What's... sav... sav-sahbah?" he asks then, shaking his head a little, though his expression is curious. He presumes it's a greeting, wherever she's from, but he's always had a knack for words and is always interested in learning some new ones.
