That might not be the worst idea... at least for now.

[ That's only going to work for so long, and he knows it. Everyone gets shoved into choosing a side sooner or later. Moreover, everyone forms their own opinions of the two factions if given enough time; but making a newcomer choose now? It's pretty rude. ]
