It's a bit different, where I'm from. We have the main goddess, Hylia, but her bloodline runs through the central royal family. The queens and princesses have always been powerfully skilled in magic, and that magic and their bloodline helps defeat a great evil when and if it revives itself again.

But I haven't heard of anyone who'd want the goddess to directly interfere with anything... [The differences are interesting, but Mipha can't think of any instance of anyone wanting to try calling down the goddess herself to take care of problems for them or even smiting Ganon herself. That was always left up to Zelda's bloodline and friends.]

I suppose... It helps that my world didn't have to face things like wars, not anymore. There was only one threat, and we were all united to face it down at any moment.
