[ She's glad this beach still has the sun — she's left her shoes behind once the grass turned to the sand. Red's not sure if she's ever felt something so gritty yet so real before; Cloudbank's sand beach doesn't cling to toes the way this done, the feeling of something constantly grating only getting worse the more she steps.
It's kind of great, actually.
She keeps to the edges of the water, just skirting around the wet sand; she's not jumping into the water just yet, content to take in the scenery for what it is. Until there's an extremely ungraceful squawk, and then an oh god, and —
Red turns, face-to-face with a familiar redhead. Blinking as she tries to process what may have just happened here, though with the expression on her face and the sudden upstart in the seagulls make it... pretty clear. It's kind of wonderful. Red can't suppress the grin that slowly creeps on her face.
And — at the risk of looking like a jerk, really — she raises her hands to clap. Quick, polite, but hopefully the enthusiasm doesn't get lost in translation. ]
uwah, thank
