Noble birth didn't mean very much when you were reduced to poverty, forced to rely on your own ingenuity rather than blood or name. It was a lesson she learned as a girl, though she always tried to carry herself as a daughter of York should.

"I have heard stories from others. They said they were shot down from the sky and attacked. It must have been horrible." Why the sudden turnaround though? It didn't make very much sense to go from one extreme to another. Unless there was magic at play? But that seemed to easy an explanation for all of the strangeness she had encountered and heard of.

"I was told that we have lodgings set aside for the new arrivals, but I can't find my way. Would you mind showing me? I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about the city as well? Being here five months, you must know what sort of people the natives are?"
