[Kale finds the pot and it's only when she sees him struggle with the can opener that she should probably stick around and walk him through the rest of cooking the meal. Maybe explain the core functions of using the network before she takes her leave, too.]

Of course. So...look here on the can of soup.

[She points to the ridge on the can first, then proceeds to point to the pieces on the can opener as she explains the process.]

The can opener hooks into there. To do that, you open this here, hook it onto the can, close that part, and then wind this part here until the lid comes completely off.

[She doesn't pass over the pot just yet.]

I'll show you how to use the stove when you're done. I...um...I take it that the cooking utensils are different than what you're used to back home?
