It's a correct assumption--he is lost. Sort of. He's not super worried about it, currently, since he's got nowhere in particular to be, but he would definitely rather be... well, elsewhere, and not lost. This guy seems pretty agitated, though, and Axel frowns.
"Well, 'lost' might be kind of a strong word," he ventures, rubbing his chin. "I mean, we know in general where we are, right? It's just a matter of making it out of these woods. That can't be too hard." He shakes a finger toward the other man, then jerks his thumb over his shoulder. "If we've gone in these two directions, that leaves two more," he says logically. "What is it they say? When you've eliminated all the other options, the remaining one has to be the right one?" Something like that. "Seems to me we've got a 50/50 shot at getting it right this time, and those ain't bad odds."
