Well done, Axel. You've definitely moved up in her estimation of things, because now you're not just some sort of weird creepy guy, you're a weird guy who actually knows something interesting and is moving to teach it to her. You are now speaking her language, and Diana is paying very close attention. "I see," she murmurs as he explains the qualities of flint to her, and it's not just an idle statement-- she really does seem to be listening attentively.

She watches closely as he demonstrates how to create the sparks; his explanation makes sense to her. "So all it takes is a strike like that, then," she says, half to herself and half to him, taking the knife and flint. She holds them like he had, and then strikes... or tries, but it's mainly like she's just clicking them together.

"Is that the wrong angle?"
