He doesn't want to be angry by any of this, not the way he was raised or with the only family he knew. While he resented Lady Stark, it wasn't with her that he sometimes felt a burst of anger and frustration with. What was worse, he couldn't brush it off now and bury it inside of him. All of it was out in the open and Claire was touching on the subject. It was hard to ignore.
"He loves me, I know this." And there was never a question about whether Jon loved his father. "He never told me about my mother. He never spoke her name or told me if she was alive or dead. I don't know if she wanted me or not. He never said anything."
He could understand the subject was painful, but even still, there was impatience and frustration, the same bursts he would have in childhood. Why wasn't he told anything? He could at least know her name, something to tell him of where he had come from and the woman he had never known.
