[ For as restless as she felt with this whole situation, falling into an easy banter with Clark was like a breath of fresh air. She liked him and they'd been through a lot together. If she couldn't trust him after that, she'd never be able to trust him. ]

It'd be nice to have a familiar face to borrow a cup of sugar from every once in awhile.

[ She tries to keep it light, knowing the gravity of the situation around her will sink in once she stops moving. Until then, she plans to take the energy wrapped about the questions buzzing in her mind and try to put it to good use. If she could find a place with a bathtub and space, she'd be happy as a clam. ]

That's something I think will take some time, but the truth has a way of coming out. [ Especially when it has a helping hand. ]
