It's the last thing she wants to hear while Slaine's screams rip from his vocal chords in the background. It gives this a personal spin, forces her to contemplate how her dear friend of all people must know such a thing with gratuitous, disturbing intimacy. She shakes her head in denial that humans have it woven in their destiny to lash out at others with such hatred for such a petty thing as a difference. It can't be natural. She won't let it be natural. She believes humans can strive for more than this.
