"That's good for you, then." Waver didn't h ave any family, so he supposed it made sense he didn't wake up near anyone he knew. He'd had to search for his most important person, and it had taken a while. He nods gravely. "Yes, they return us from the dead, among other things. It is a nice bargaining piece though. I know I was more willing to help them when I knew they could do something like that."

But they had promised other things too, hadn't they? They really did seem desperate to get people on their side, willing to cooperate with whatever they had going on here.
