( that is not the most reassuring answer in the world, though, uncertainty might be better than complete knowledge of something he doesn't remember. when pressed for her name, though, there's no blurry maybes for him to lean on.

if they've met, he doesn't know when it could have happened. and he certainly doesn't recognize her, and while he's spoken to plenty of people he didn't much remember after it happened, usually that's with a mask pulled over his eyes and another persona on his shoulders. not to mention he was usually distracted by some arch villain or serious city-wide threat at the time...
