Battle plans had a way of shifting beyond his control, usually because of his reckless decisions, but this was different than a massive war. This was nothing more than a hunting expedition. Track and find a man that had been depriving shop owners of their livelihood and injuring others. He was a stag in the woods, sharp and quick, but fairly easy to fell, so long as they remained sharp.
