[It’s much harder climbing up Dazai’s sleeve without his ability, but he does manage, shielded by the protectiveness of Dazai’s hand. It’s something he hadn’t expected, something that fills him with a sort of warmth he realizes is dangerously close to fondness, but he’s not about to get all mushy about it as he perches himself on Dazai’s shoulder like some kind of tiny parrot. This way Dazai can hear him loud and clear as he huffs and complains about this current state. He deserves it for all the short jokes, after all.]

As if I couldn’t still kick your ass if I was cat sized.

[He’s confident that he could kick Dazai’s ass at anytime, in any state. Except this one. But only because he’s lacking his ability. That’s the only reason!!! Even tiny kicks from Chuuya would hurt! And yet the desire to beat Dazai to a pulp has lessened considerably since he’d learned the truth of Dazai’s betrayal, and he can’t exactly be ungrateful for being plucked out of the forest, where any little thing could spell his doom.]
