[ Jim steps back to allow her to do that. ] Some doors do have manual overrides if you poke around enough - they operate without any power source on basic machinery like the aforementioned pulley system level of technology, to prevent people from being trapped in an emergency situation. Usually doors like this will, because they aren't in key positions that might need to be sealed off if there's a hull breach.
