His eyes drop down to his arm distractedly, then John shakes his head. He looks after other people for a living, not himself.
"I can fix it later. Haven't got a spare shirt and it'll bleed again if I start pulling this off now. It's fine."
For now. The knife was... probably clean. He can find some alcohol to pour on it or something.
