You're right.

[ Once he's in up to his thighs, it's enough of a gauge of temperature to just plunge the rest of the way in, at least until the water reaches over the tops of his shoulders. Sorey's right — after Flona and the various lagoons throughout both Olympia and Wyver, he's gotten much more comfortable in the water than he once was.

It's just as warm now that he's almost entirely submerged, and there's a beautiful light coming from within the water somewhere. Like another sky.
