It’s a truth he’s kept sealed in his heart for as long as he’s been “awake”, and it’s been kept buried for a reason. Mori never would’ve tolerated this kind of emotional weakness, and so Chuuya had hardened his heart and become the man he needed to be to rise through the ranks of the Mafia.
