I had birds once, lovebirds, but their I think their wings had been clipped. They could flutter a little but they never were able to fly at all...
[even though they were meant to. He had loved the little creatures dearly, but watching them hop about hobbled so was a little sad.

I have heard of lions, but what are... peng-wings?
[they must be birds - the wings are right in the name.]
