I'm guessing destroying it would have been as good as a declaration of war. Maybe they never thought anyone would be stupid enough to try resurrecting it."

Either way, John is strongly of the opinion they need to get it back. He pushes to his feet, dusts some of the dirt from himself and squints around.

"My money is on them having taken it into Wyver, since that's where all the shaman are based. Maybe we can still track them down, I dunno how long this kind of... ritual takes. Presumably there are requirements."
