John may not be great at saving, but Ianto is. At this rate Ianto might wind up having a small fortune himself with all the money John keeps shoving at him to buy himself things. He thinks about commenting to say as much, but there's something about the other man's behavior that stops him. Has him reaching out to take it and carefully hiding it away in his bag (with the rest) before glancing back at the other man, thinking about saying something else, and then thinking better of it.
