He isn't sure why it bothers him, but it does, and it has him shaking his head at the other man as he speaks up to say, "John, stop bringing him up. I mean it. He's got business in Olympia and at the station and you and I have got business of our own with this dragon, and if this date happens then it happens and if it doesn't then maybe we'll plan something else and maybe we won't, and that's okay, alright?" Jim is a good man but Ianto knows himself and he doesn't know what Jim wants and until he has that spelled out for him he'd prefer not to think about it that hard.
