❄ ENJOLRAS.
so in early summer, she makes her way to the same door she'd knocked on, some months previous, and when Enjolras opens the door, a slight smile appears on her lips. then, she says, as a greeting, ]
If you're about to tell me Grantaire isn't here, you may save your breath, as I'm here to see you, not him. May I come in?

❄ JAMIE.
and so here she is, walking alongside him, carrying a little bag with some water bottles with her, just in case. ]
Any chance you would tell me what this surprise trip is about, yet? [ they seem to be heading to the outskirts of the city, to where there are fields and meadows that give way to forest, and she wonders if he intends for them to go hiking... ]

❄ STEVE.
and yet, when she opens the door to Steve Rogers standing on the other side, she still blinks in surprise... before inviting him in.
initially, she thinks he's here to see Claire instead of her — after all, she has no reason to think he knows of Ramsay, or Theon, or any of it, and there's been no disasters in the city for a while, so no reason for him to be here checking up on her. and yet, when she offers for him to sit in the living room as they wait for Claire to come back from her newly-set up clinic, he says he wanted to speak to her, and Sansa blinks. ]
Of course we can talk... what it is? I hope it's nothing serious. You said you'd recovered alright, didn't you? [ or more like he hadn't said anything at all, and she'd merely inferred as much, but it's enough to get her worrying. maybe he needs something from Claire's clinic and doesn't want to tell Claire as it'd worry her even more... ]
❄ JON.
[ after showing up in Wyver completely unannounced, and hugging him in greeting, Sansa steps back with a smile, Lady having already trotted inside the house — it's hard, when part of your family lives in another city, but she's making it work. it's not that long of a way there, especially with Lady, and as long as she keeps her staying in Olympia a secret here from the local populace, they treat her well enough. ]
Perhaps I should have let you know before... are you very busy?

❄ FREDERICK.
[ even the eerie emptiness of the station doesn't stop her from her weekly visit to her family. she checks on all of them: Arya, Bran, Rickon. Mother, then Father... and finally Robb. she always leaves him last, as that is how the hope that she might find his pod empty lives the longest — and yet, this time when she approaches his sleeping form, the usual melancholy-mixed-with-disappointment she feels is replaced by... confusion.
very confused confusion.
she stares with wide eyes at the scene that unfolds right before her eyes: a man, diligently polishing the pod of the man who sleeps beside Robb — privately, she's named him Blueberry Knight, as his hair is the colour of blueberries — with an ease that tells her he's done this many times before.
(she wonders why this is the first time their visiting hours overlap, and then decides she's not exactly sad they haven't, before.) ]
Are you sure you didn't miss a spot, there?
[ ... yes. this is how she starts the conversation. once, she would have striven to be polite, no matter the situation, but she isn't exactly feeling like being polite, right now. not with something this ridiculous. ]
blueberry knight, i'm crying
just wait until she names all of the people from his home, lissa can be pineapple princess

❄ LENA.
somewhere in the bushes that circle the clearing, Lady runs and hunts what little wildlife there is. Sansa trusts that even if she catches a rabbit or something, she'll have her meal in silence somewhere else... ]
This is a lovely spot, [ she says to Lena, and it feels like her smile has become a permanent feature on her, so much has she been smiling on their way here. ] I'm glad you weren't too busy with the guard to join me here.

❄ MAXIMUS.
and yet, when she walks into the shop and sees him, she can't help the way her shoulders draw back, tighter, the way ice pours into her spine.
(she has told herself she is no longer afraid, that she's bested him twice, that he holds no sway over her any longer. she won't ever again give him the satisfaction of knowing he's been able to scare her. and yet, she hasn't met him, not face to face, not after his resurrection, and perhaps she wasn't quite as prepared as she thought.
perhaps it's good luck, that it's only the one who looks like Ramsay that she meets, first.) ]
Maximus, [ she says in greeting, omitting the ser she would usually be placing before his name. he's none the wiser, likely, and for the better. ] I'm not mistaken, am I? I met someone, a girl named Jean, who could have been my twin. But it's still strange to see for others.
