[Those ears now come forward in interest, the second the word scowling leaves his mouth so close to her thinking it toward him.

Outwardly, she drops down into play bow, huffing pants that amount to her muted laughter. He gets to hear it however, tickled lightness. It may seem strange to think with laughter, but she doesn't do this on purpose, it's because the core of her feels the sensations of laughter, even if she can't physically produce the sound.]

You're very perceptive, yes. [She tosses her coat to shiver off her abundance of delight before it makes her too energetic, and stands straight once more with swaying, swaying tail.]

Thank you. [A beat between this voiced gratitude and what she'll say next, she wants it to carry the weight it holds.] I'm not the type to let myself become paralyzed over a little loneliness, but you're one of the first who helped me feel less like I was completely unreachable. People take it for granted: being understood, and I can't say enough what conversations and time spent with you has done for my heart. That you feel I'll protect what you've shared with me, and I hope you'll still feel that way now. Betrayal is a human concept. And like other human concepts, it's reserved for them to make such choices. I haven't the capacity or means for these kinds of things. I wonder if you already know that.

[Perhaps it's too much, but she's no good at keeping herself from this kind of open honesty. She doesn't know if Rocket understands the depths of her appreciation toward him, and at least this way, she's been given opportunity to let him hear it plainly.]
