Oh-- Thank you. That's really sweet of you, but don't worry. The gems here don't appear to be sentient or anything. Back home, sometimes gems wouldn't form fully and we'd find pieces and such along the Beach of Beginnings. We'd use them to repair ourselves if their composition matched closely enough [Which sounds slightly horrifying and it kind of is but. That's how it be sometimes] so I suppose I can't get too upset seeing, say, diamond pieces used in jewelry.

[Dia runs a hand through their hair, looking thoughtfully off into the distance] Our enemies like to use us in jewelry though, so sometimes it's a bit of a... knee-jerk reaction? [They wave a dismissive hand and smile] But you're not them, so I won't hold it against you! It's sort of nice to know that if I lose some pieces of myself there's usually someone on hand with a diamond-something for me to use in a pinch!
