Well, tropical can still get snow like on mountains and stuff, sheesh. He's just trying to make conversation, why you gotta be like that Riku.

Axel looks a little wistful then.

"We didn't get many storms on Radiant Garden," he says, a bit surprised at how easy it is to say it. He's never been very good at talking about home, but since discussing it with Riku before, even just a little, it feels easier. "We got sun and rain and wind and snow, sometimes ice, but actual thunderstorms were pretty uncommon."

When Riku brings up snowball fights, Axel shoots him a sly look at the same time Riku shoots him a withering glare, and the redhead laughs brightly and reaches over to clap Riku on the shoulder.

"Aw, come on," he says, "don't'cha trust me even a little?" He waves a hand. "Snowball fights are only fun when you can easily go back inside and warm up with some cocoa right away," he assures him. "In this weather, a snowball fight would just... be more of the weather."

Once we get to town, though, this truce may or may not hold.
