John looks up from where he's flopped onto the bed, stripped down to a t-shirt and his boxers. He's been reading something on his phone, which he sets aside now -- swiping up a bundle of things to duck into the bathroom with. Three days on the road in the same set of clothes is enough to have him feeling a little grimy, no matter how cold it is, and he strips off his t-shirt to wash up -- changes into a clean pair of boxers and tries scrub himself down as much as he can before heading back out. He dumps his old clothes by his bag on his side of the bed, towelling drops of water off his chest and out of his hair with a sigh as he sits on the end of the bed.
After a moment he drapes the towel around his neck and reaches for the wrist cuff thing hidden in his bag, frowns at it a long moment trying to feel out if it's doing anything -- if he can turn it off just in case it is listening to them.
