[She rubbed her arms, trying to think. It was difficult to think, with the cold...so she went with the first story that popped into mind. And as she does, something relaxes in her, and her voice-which was once quivery smooths out, with polish and practice that comes from someone with training.]
In a time not so long ago, there was a person. They heard someone calling them; they heard a voice of someone, not so far away.
And so, they opened their eyes.
They found themselves on a field of grass. It waved to and fro, by the breeze. But more importantly, they discovered that the voice was not in their mind. It was coming from a smiling man, and beside him was a young woman.
They didn't expect to find a young man, laying in the grass, dressed in a fine coat of dark blue, gold, and purple. But they were glad he was able to open his eyes.
But as they found out, he was not all right. Though he knew the man who pulled him onto his feet was named Chrom, and that his name was Robin...he had no memory of who he was.
And stranger still, for Chrom and Robin had never met. Chrom was sure of this.
[And so the story starts, with that of Robin, Chrom's, Lissa's, and Fredrick's first battle together.]
