She's lucked out when it comes to aging. A few lines around the eyes, some gray hairs, some aches and pains on occasion. Nothing too bad. And to think she'd once been so worried about her appearance that she dyed those grays away. Not these days, though.

It doesn't mean she can't be flattered.

"Why, thank you. I think a lot of it is just luck of the draw, unfortunately. And sun screen."

She understands what he's getting at. Claire nods.

"More people to worry about. I would always look for them when people woke up, and I would be both heartbroken and relieved when they weren't among them. Terrible as it is to say."
