Ouch.

[Ianto flicks something of a smile at Prior, uncertain as to how much of what he's saying is an exaggeration really. He understands that the tone of it is, at least. And he understands that it has to be mostly for show, although to whose benefit is a good question at that.]

We do, though. Live together. Since the first day we set foot in Olympia, actually. I can't really remember whether he'd asked or whether I sort of just. Got swept along under his wing and never really left.

[He winces slightly at how that sounds, though he supposes it's not entirely inaccurate. John has been paying for the majority of the food and rent, he'd even been giving Ianto what basically amounted to an allowance. Ianto just handled his money far better than John himself, at times. And handled John himself far better, for that matter.

He meets Prior's eyes a moment longer, wondering how well the other man knows John and how much he knows of what's happened to him, recently.]

Someone's got to keep an eye on him, after all.
