[ Bucky takes a wrong step on his way to the wall and there's a loud, metallic creak. He freezes and takes a slow, calming breathing. The floor is probably not going to hold him for long, but that's okay. He's resilient and he heals almost as well as Steve does. He can take a lot of damage and walk it off, even if it hurts like hell. ]

Feel like I should tell you I can take a fall better than most people. I'd rather you don't get yourself hurt on my account.

[ The last thing he needs is someone getting themselves killed playing hero for a guy who survived falling off a train. Pain's not fun, but it's better than guilt.

He shifts his weight forward and the creaking only gets worse. ]

[ That next foot down is what does it. He'd tried to take her advice and get closer to the wall, but he'd been too far and the floor collapses under him.

Luckily, he's got amazing relflexes and he catches the edge of a metal beam just under the floor with the fingers of his metal arm. Unluckily, those fingers still feel pain like normal fingers and they take all of his weight with the force of his body falling.

He grunts, but manages to hang on, which is great, because it's a big, black mystery below him and he has no idea how far he'll fall or into what. ]
