[Diamond looks skyward a moment, thinking again.] There's a saying I've heard people say before, and it took me a while until I could really understand it-- Something like, 'the grass is always greener on the other side'? I guess it's a little like that.

[But they smile and shrug] I suppose here it doesn't quite matter as much anyhow. There's a lot of new things to discover and keep us all pretty busy; worrying about this 'mortality' thing seems kind of small when you've got that dragon and this stuff with the Natha and first refugees and such! There's so many new things to learn and see!
