[Nott opens her mouth to ask him if he'd drink it if it were acid, due to her own experiences with such things. Apparently, though, the answer is immediately "as long as he doesn't know it's acid", which isn't quite on the level of the Gentleman, but still somewhat alarming.
Thankfully, it's not acid. The taste has a bit of sweet heat to it, different spices intermingling with a sort of sweeter whiskey to create something similar to but not quite Trostenwald's own fire whiskey. But, true to any drink Nott would mix, the alcohol kicks in hard, doubled up with vodka on top of the whiskey. It's a stiff fucking drink, and the aftertaste burns more with alcohol than it does with any spiciness.
When Nott comes back into Juno's view, she sort of gives a jazz hands maneuver.]
