You are always full of such useful information. It is a shame that none have bothered to ask you for it. [ It's not a lie, nor is it said in any sort of snide tone. Ardyn is the sneakiest of snakes and he always seems to be one step ahead of everyone else. ]

Yes, it is quite strange indeed. I've no idea how such a phenomenon could happen, and yet it has. Though I would very much assume that we are not the only people here to experience it.

[ This place just can't get any stranger, she thinks. Between this whole separate timelines thing, other worlds, and the fact that she and Ardyn Izunia are having a quite civilized conversation as if they were some sort of close friends is just... weird. Flat out weird. ]

Something along those lines, yes. I recall the Tidemother's fury and seeing my brother at the altar.

[ And Ignis, too, of course. She can clearly remember her brother calling out to her not to leave, as if she had any other choice. With a hum, she tucks the photos away for the time being. She hadn't had a whole lot of time to come to terms with her demise and what needed to be done still. Not that it particularly matters now, of course. ]

Would you care to walk and talk, Chancellor? Perhaps you could enlighten me with some tales of your time here.

[ He really is a jerk and several other words that would not at all be ladylike. And for all it is worth, she sees no point in being hostile with him. He isn't doing anything hideous at the moment, and she isn't really worried he's going to try to pull a fedora knife on her this time around, either. ]
