He feels a momentary, vague wave of irritation at the correction but clamps down on it. She's right, and she's confused, and it's all weird and they can't really help that. He stands slowly as she does, hands hovering out vaguely ready to grab her if need be. She doesn't collapse, though, and he tilts his head at her before giving a slight shrug.
"I have found," he says finally, "that being on an alien planet often brings about unexpected complication. Why don't I walk you the rest of the way?"
