Ianto's stomach lurches as John reaches to grab for him, trying and failing to jump back and keep himself from the other man's grasp. John's never been angry with him, never gotten physical anyway, and Ianto knows that if it comes down to an altercation he probably won't win. John's faster, stronger, he has every advantage save perhaps weight on him. And he's got a gun. That doesn't stop him from struggling, though.
"Don't -- stop!" he cries out, lashing out perhaps a little bit more emphatically than the situation might require, but he’s getting fairly stressed at this point in his defense. "You can't just -- they're up on the bloody satellite, John, you. You should know that -- why...?" Why doesn't he? What happened? Dear god, don't let this be permanent, this is by far the worst re-introduction Ianto could ever have imagined in his life.
