The thought hadn't occurred to her. Using her reading was effortless, usually; things just came to her. But to try and read something specific -- that would be new.

"It would need to be focused," she murmurs, thinking out loud. She's never actively tried to read anyone, assuming that most people would prefer to be left well enough alone. "But surely if it's for something good, something helpful. They might not mind?"
