The death of a parent is...terrible.

[There's something very soft and gentle and sad about his voice as he responds to her. Of course, the reason he'd chosen to engage with her is because he'd had an inkling, but...the verification is something different entirely.]

It's not foolish to mourn that. No matter how old you are.
