[Caleb is definitely a little twitchy about all of this. Nott is scouting ahead, but he'd much rather have Frumpkin as a bird. Not that he doesn't trust Nott. It's just easier to cover more distance. And less people pay attention to animals. (Mostly. Except cat-kickers.)
